We joined the exodus from Stockholm city to the archipelago and had ourselves a very traditional midsummer. I didn't care much for dancing around the may pole but I did join in a little when they danced the "Little Frog" dance.

Hi Joel.
It was good to see the new pictures on the blog - not sure about the picture within the picture of one of them though. I hope Farfar wasn't too annoyed about his damaged sculpture. I know Big Brother here would be roaring with rage at Poobydooby if he boke one of his pottery creations. You can tell Grandma that I'm doing well with Poobydooby, getting him to like good stuff on the DVD screen. The latest is 'The Sourcerer's Apprentice'(the Wizard's boy-servant) with the Ducas music and Micky Mouse. Nothing else will do for the time being but 'Micky' when he's allowed to have a DVD. Big Brother, on the other hand, often gets told off because he likes to take out horror DVDs for hire. But he does like quite good cinema stories, like 'Prince Caspian'. It's cold here and I think it won't be long before we have some snow. We've had a big hail storm the other day. Your pictures make me wish I was already in Sweden.

Love from Lakka.
